New PR councillor at Ugu

The 23-year-old is from the KwaMbotho area in Umuziwabantu Municipality.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) councillor Nomvelo Ndadane was recently sworn in as a Proportional Representative (PR) councillor in Ugu District Municipality.

The 23-year-old from the KwaMbotho area in Umuziwabantu Municipality replaced former councillor Bhekinkosi Majola.

According to Ugu District Municipality, Ndadane swore under oath to serve the communities of Ugu with diligence, saying that the councillor vowed to carry forward the directive given to her by the district’s council in line with the municipality’s vision and mission.

It added that the Speaker of Ugu district council, Sizwe Ngcobo, on behalf of council welcomed Ndadane and wished her well in her new responsibilities.
