Up-and-coming karateka excel

It has been a very busy time for the young athletes.

It was the turn of some of our up and coming development athletes from Ugu Karate to shine, together with the elite athletes.

A combined KKZN Development and Elite tournament was held at Coastlands Hotel, Umhlanga on July 17.

Coaches were proud of the hard work the athletes put in to their preparations.

It showed in the number of medals the region brought back, in both the development and elite divisions.

Development athletes compete in the KSA Development Championships in Port Elizabeth on August 20 and 21.

They are wished everything of the best for the upcoming tournament.
