Durban’s funny man on the wild side
The comedy show will have guests laughing at his stories from Covid-19 to finding the funny side of the looting and floods.
After two years, Durban’s funny man, Carvin H Goldstone, will return to the Tropical Nites Theatre at Wild Coast Sun on August 26 and 27.
The comedy show will have guests laughing at his stories from Covid-19 to finding the funny side of the looting and floods. The show will also include a few new comedy characters including Uncle Juggie, everyone’s favourite Uncle, and Sharnrae’s mother who is always asking her to boil the rice and check on her younger siblings while mom is at work.
Goldstone is a multiple award-winning comedian who won the South African Comedy Show of the Year Award in 2020 at the South African Comedy Awards for his show, Life Stories on DStv and Showmax.
He is also one of the biggest names in South African Comedy. Goldstone said his recent accomplishments include winning Comics Choice Comedian of the Year in 2018.
He is also a multiple award-winning broadcast journalist, having received four Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards.
He has performed in the United Kingdom, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe.
