DA plans to rescue KZN

Fever Local News | DA supporters welcomed Chris Pappas who clearly stressed that the party has a plan to rescue KZN.

In commemorating Human Rights Day, the DA’s KZN premier candidate, Chris Pappas, and provincial leader, Francois Rodgers, addressed many locals and DA supporters at the Uvongo Town Hall.

The general elections will be held on May 29 to elect a new National Assembly, as well as the provincial legislature in each province.

DA supporters welcomed Chris Pappas, who clearly stressed that the party has a plan to rescue KZN.
In his address, Pappas said they gathered to celebrate Human Rights Day. “How can we celebrate when so many people in our province and our country are suffering? We may have won the freedom to vote, but it’s difficult that we have not had the freedom to live a life of opportunities. The DA has a plan to rescue KZN, ” he said.

He called on those who want positive change to get active because ‘our human rights that we see in our Constitution will never be realised by the current government’.

He also touched on the DA’s seven pledges for KZN. These included creating 300 000 real jobs, bringing an end to load shedding, fighting for the creation of a provincial police service, creating an independent anti-corruption unit, guaranteeing water in every tap, cutting waiting times for provincial health services in half and establishing a school evaluation authority.
