Good golf at Southbroom, great food at Casa Toscana

It was a 'walk in the park' for the winners.

CLEVE Walker and Russell Johnson teamed up to win the Casa Toscana betterball Stableford at Southbroom Golf Club last Saturday.

They carded 49 points to deny Gordon Moody and Kerry Fielden who had 48 points.

In third spot on 47 points were Arthur Lee and John Lison.

The women’s section was won on 46 points by Augustine D’Ewes and Jenny Westray, by two from Lorraine Cook and Allyson Thomas.

Third place on 43 points went to Sandy Luus and Jill Webster.

The Chicken Run last Friday, over nine holes, saw three people score 21 points, namely Heather Anderson, Brandon Saunders and Gerald Fitzgerald.

Roger Phillips had 20 points, and Jeanne Powell, Kevin Smith and Chris Miller all had 19 points.
