Time to bait up for Paddock fishing compo

There will be a strong emphasis on family at the popular annual fishing competition.

IT’S almost time for the 2017 Paddock Fishing Compo, which is set to take place from March 3 to 5 this year.

It promises to be one of the largest family-fun weekends on the South Coast.

There will be 40 fully-stocked dams, more than R150 000 worth of prizes, many lucky draws, including a main cash draw of R4 000 and two R1 000 cash draws.

Tickets cost R80. Every ticket is an entry for the lucky draws. The more tickets you have, the more chances you have to win.

Arm bands (entrance into club grounds and dams) will cost R20 per person (over 18 years old) and R10 per person (under 18 years old).

Camping is R300 for the weekend, per tent or caravan.

The briefing is at the Paddock Farmers’ Club on Friday, March 3 at 7pm.

For more info and tickets, contact Elenor at 083 2935265 or elenorh@vodamail.co.za.

Due to the fact that organisers are trying to promote a family weekend, no pets or alcohol will be allowed.
