There was fun and festivity for the Garrun Group golf day at Port Shepstone Country Club recently.
Winners were Wayne Beekman, Julian Smith, Jesse Verster Jnr and Gevan Jack on 55.25.
Wayne is better known for his bodyboarding, padel and tennis skills, not so much for golf.
His father, John, is club chairman and the Beekman usually associated with golf.
Runners-up were Neil Retief, Christo Janse van Vuuren, Rudi Steyn and Ilse Steyn on 56.5.
In third place were Cliff Garrun, Cath Albertyne, Corne (surname not recorded) and Ryan Ringo on 56.875.
They were followed by Eddie Ringo, Doug Trevarthen, Jesse Verster and Tony Fairbairn on 57.
In fifth spot were Jarrod Skidmore, Darryn Louwrens, Brian Mannix and Basie Louwrens on 57.5.
Nearest the pins were Kevin Manthey (5th), Cecelia Verster (8th) and Gavin van Wyk (14th).
Longest drive on the 18th was struck by Kevin Meyer.
