Nicky nabs top prize in game fish comp

Conditions were not easy, to say the least.

The Shelly Beach Game Fish Classic 2025 took place recently at Shelly Beach Ski-boat Club, with many anglers chasing the R20 000 first prize.

The three day competition started off with sporty weather and waves that were challenging for many a boat owner.

Junior winner Pieter Bodenstein.

NSRI was on standby during the competition to keep anglers safe and also supplied early morning coffee, which was well received.

Elmar Basson (Aquaholic) was second, Troy Peckham (Reel Chaos) third, Rory Eidelman (Fathertime) fourth, and Greg Defilippi (Amberwon) fifth.
