Lace up for Local Loop

Bring a friend and come vibe and stride.

If you live on the north side of the Mzimkhulu River bridge and want to add some fitness fun to your life – the Local Loop: Vibe and Stride – is every Saturday at 08:00.

Last Saturday, a large group of avid walkers and runners braved the chilly morning air to ‘move their bodies’ and burn some calories.

Let’s go (from left) Jenny Hulley, Belinda van Wyk and Michaela Lategan.

Young, old, couples, mothers pushing prams and even the dog walkers enjoyed the fresh air, the safe and scenic route and a catch up with friends.

Hayley Anderson, founder of the event, encourages everyone to join in.

Fit and enthusiastic are (from left) Jarrod and Samantha van Wyk, with Charles and Gail Wallis.

“Whether you’re in it for the run, the music, the vibes, or the hydration, we’d love to see even more friendly faces this time around. Bring your energy, your mates, and your best striding self.”

The third Local Loop is at the Port Shepstone Country Club this Saturday (31st) at 08:00.
