SOUTHBROOM
The Walking on Water team of Cleve and Julie Walker and Tony Waters regained the lead after round eight of the Hibiscus Brokers SuperTrips after a big win at Margate.
Winning at Southbroom on August 21 were The Keenagers – Amanda Taylor, Annette Suther and Tony Avyard.
Team Amaroo, comprising Tracy Graham, Di de Wet and Charmane Vermeulen won at Riverside.
The Lambazi Lurkers of Beth McGlynn, Dale Riddle and Ron Weddell were the victors at Munster.
The Coffee on the Square Open Trips played at Southbroom on August 19 was won by Rhett Butler, Hylton Cannon and Paul Ekermans.
Runners-up were Cleve and Julie Walker and Tony Waters.
First session went to Johan du Preez, Mo Karani and Jeanne Gregori, and the second to Martiens Olivier, Mel Glover and Paul Russell.

MARGATE
The Uvongo Spar sponsored open 2-4-2 on August 20 was won by Johan du Preez and Jeanne Gregori.
Runners-up were Sannie and Gerhard Balzer. Session prize went to Mike Prinsloo and Martiens Olivier.
The Food Lover’s Market drawn pairs was won by Gerry Davey and Patrick Pillay.
Runners-up were Mo and Fawzia Karani. Session went to Johan du Preez and Shaun Crow.
The club welcomes all visitors and prospective bowlers to enjoy a morning of bowls every Sunday from 08:30 to 09:00.
Flat-soled shoes are a requirement.

VILLAGE
Winning the Spec-savers open trips on August 14 were Johan du Preez, Mo Karani and Jeanne Gregori.
Runners-up were John Keppler, Steve Rennie and Ross Ferguson.
First session winners were Cassidy Martin, Marijeanne Fensham and Barbara Egan.
Second session went to Alan Tyers, Clive Bignell and Mel Glover.

THE BELL
The recent Food Lover’s Market pairs competition was won by Louw and Charmaine Vermeulen.
In second place were Hans and Dina van der Walt, with session prize going to Renier van Tonder and Ernie Joubert.
