Umkomaas Saps pool players shine at district sports day
Sergeant Ryan Arumugam and Sergeant Theo Pillay competed in the blackball pool tournament.
Police officials from 42 police stations competed in multiple sporting codes at the eThekwini Saps District Sports day held at Harlequins Sports Club on the Bluff recently.
Umkomaas officers, Sergeant Ryan Arumugam and Sergeant Theo Pillay competed in the blackball pool tournament.
Arumugam earned first place and Pillay placed third in the competition. Both members represent KZN Saps and are multiple national champions.
A Protea player was among the participants.
When asked about his win, Arumugam said: “I give God all the praise, glory and honour.”
They have been praised by their station for their outstanding achievements.
