Competitive Southern Natal ladies cricketers victorious
The young cricketers will be playing in the KZNCU Promotional T20 semi-finals soon.
The Southern Natal Ladies team is participating in the KwaZulu Natal Promotional Division. This is the first time most of the girls are playing competitive club cricket.
The team is coached by Clinton Moodley of CM Cricket Academy and captained by Veronique du Plooy.
“It’s amazing to see our girls playing competitive cricket at club competition level,” said Moodley.
“It’s amazing to see them win and celebrate all their hard work!”
It’s two wins out of two for the Southern Natal outfit. They defeated their last two opponents by winning with bonus points.
Valerie du Plooy destroyed FAM Harlequins with some superb fast bowling, four overs, six runs with five wickets on Sunday.
The team will now participate in the KZNCU Promotional T20 semi-finals soon.
Everyone hopes the girls will reach the finals and bring home the trophy.
