South Coast Striders add flair to Run Your City race

The runners had a great time at this hugely popular event.

A number of South Coast Striders travelled to Durban to take part in the Absa 10km Run Your City last Sunday.

As expected, Peter Chidzungu was first Strider home in a time of 32:02, the 10km distance being one he loves.

Sekelo Shude clocked 42:26 and Jade du Toit 44:46, followed by Victoria Forshaw in a time of 48:00.

Deborah Reynolds also finished in less than an hour, in 50:18, with Corrie Steenkamp also beating the hour mark, if only just, in 59:15.

Corrie Steenkamp doesn’t appear to have even raised a sweat.

Wonder Zungu was next on 1:00:23, with Elijah Ferreria in at 1:05:04, and Adeline Jacobs in 1:08:28.

Taking it a little more easy were Brenda Payne in 1:22:34, Lynn van der Merwe in 1:26:35, Tembakazi Ndlobeni in 1:30:55 and Mthoko Mbambo in 1:34:27.
