A warmer, brighter welcome at Illovo Beach

The southerly entrance of Illovo Beach was dreary and lifeless, but thanks to Sapphire Coast Tourism and its partners it is now beautiful.

WHAT was once a dull space at the southern entrance to Illovo Beach is being transformed into something the community can be proud of, with the initial clean-up and rejuvenation taking place on August 21.

Sapphire Coast Tourism’s Romy Wenzel commended ATKV Natalia and its team for driving the community upliftment project, and thanked supporters, Illovo Nursery and Omar Hardware.

She added that a few final touches are still on the way.

“It’s all about community pride and working together to make our area better, safer and more welcoming to residents and visitors from near and far,” said Wenzel.
