Toti Lions receive fellowship kudos
AMANZIMTOTI Lions Club president, Ken Toward and Lion Malcolm Botha were both recently awarded Melvin Jones Fellows.

They were nominated for the fellowship by past president, Lion John West for their long association with Lions and service to the club.
The fellowship is named after Melvin Jones, the founder of Lions Clubs International. “It is largely due to the growth of the fellowship programme that Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has been able to meet humanitarian needs in communities around the world,” said chairman of the board of trustees, Wing-Kum Tam.
“Fellowship contributions brings medication to people to help prevent river blindness and teaches children to avoid drugs through Lions Quest. Each Melvin Jones Fellowship contribution can restore the sight of 167 people or provide Lions Quest to 67 youth. LCIF is able to expand programmes through the generous support of Fellows, impacting lives across the globe.”
