Library collects books for new school

Donate your old books and audio-visual material to Kingsburgh Primary School.

Kingsburgh library is collecting books and magazines to donate to Kingsburgh Primary School situated at Kingsburgh West.

“Kingsburgh Primary School is a new school with a state-of-the-art school library building, but it is sad because they do not have books,” said librarian, Yvonne Goba.

Books, magazines, educational posters and toys, craft material, audio-visual material (DVDs and CD) and other educational material suitable for grade R to 7 pupils are needed.

“The book donations will be delivered to the school on Wednesday, 18 September as September is Literacy Month. We appeal to the community to assist the library in this initiative,” said Yvonne.
