Shooter targets Doonside flat windows
Doonside residents of a block of flats were irked after a number of windows were shot at in the past 10 days.
Body corporate chairman of Zeezicht flats, Rene Rooth say that altogether three flats have been targeted with six windows being shot at. “I suspect it could be an unruly child that’s shooting at the windows with a pellet gun,” says Rene. Amadonia flats which is next to Zeezicht has also been targeted.
Incident reports have been filed with the police each time a shooting occurs. “I just want people to be aware that there is someone out there, maybe this person needs help. People in Zeezicht fear for their safety and they are afraid to use the walk-ways,” says Rene.
