Art club marks 30 years
Upper South Coast Art Association members celebrated the organisation's 30th birthday as well as their end-of-year lunch at the Simply Yum restaurant on Saturday, 23 November.
The 2014 USCAA committee was also voted in. They are Gerryanne Coetzer, Helen Craven, Audrey Gadd, Joe Chudleigh, Joan Ray (president), Frank Gadd and Rosemary Dickens.
“The club will host an exhibition at the Galleria shopping centre from Saturday, 16 December to Sunday, 29 December and the public are invited to visit to find an original piece of art at an affordable price,” said president, Joan Ray.
The club meets at the Amanzimtoti library at 1.30pm on the third Saturday of each month. Visitors are welcome and entrance for non-members is R25, which includes tea. The first meeting for 2014 is on Saturday, 16 February.
