Heartwarming response to Lions campaign

Many less fortunate people will be warm this winter.

KINGSBURGH Lions Club’s Anything Warm Campaign was a resounding success.

“It is with a deep feeling of gratitude that we thank the warm-hearted, generous residents of Amanzimtoti and Kingsburgh for their donations. Our campaign to collect anything warm has been a resounding success, and many of our less fortunate folk will be warmer this winter due to your generosity,” said Lion president, Pat Wilson.

Although the campaign is officially over for this year, the club is willing to collect clothing, bed linen, curtains and household goods. “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”

If you have items in good condition to donate, contact Pat on 082-550-3159 or Lion Gwen on 084-626-9592.
