Mothers, daughters tea shares communication message
Speaker gave a brilliant talk on being assertive without being aggressive.

AFRICA Cares for Life hosted a successful mothers and daughters tea in Winklespruit on Saturday, 21 June.
“Some 55 mother and daughter pairs and women joined us on the day. It was yet another demonstration of the faithfulness of God, who is always willing to direct and bless what we commit to Him,” said the organisation’s director, Shanno Enoch.
Psychologist, speaker, trainer and coach Claire Newton gave a brilliant presentation on being assertive without being aggressive. She explained that how people communicate with each other ultimately determines whether a relationship is clear, open and honest or fraught with tension, misunderstanding and arguments.
There was positive feedback from attendees, among them, ‘I enjoyed the tea, the message was really an eye opener for me’; ‘thank you for a wonderful and informative presentation’; ‘this presentation really gave me tools for my toolbox’.
