An Athlone Park woman hid in a cupboard while brazen armed robbers invaded her home in broad daylight on Thursday morning, 3 September.
Blue Security operations manager, Brian Jackson said a gang of four armed robbers derailed the driveway gate of a Spencer Road property at about 10.20am.
“The robbers entered the house and held up the domestic worker at gunpoint, but the resident managed to go and hide away by locking herself in a wardrobe,” he said.
Jackson said the robbers fled with a gaming console, a safe and the resident’s car keys, in a grey Mercedes Benz.
