Fleet-footed cop completes Mandela half marathon
Toti SAPS management encourages other members to take up sporting activiites.
TOTI cop and avid runner, W/O Derrick Thembelani Minya competed in the Mandela Race on 30 August.
He completed the 21km race in 2hr2min. In 2014, he participated in 42km race which he completed in just over four hours.
He is a member of SAPS Striders Athletic Club.
He is attached to the visible policing component and is also the legal official at Toti SAPS since 2011,
“Toti SAPS management and members congratulate him on his achievement. This serves as encouragement to other members to keep fit and to participate in sporting activities,” said Toti SAPS communications officer, Capt Charlene van der Spuy.
