The charity shops are in desperate need of ‘pre-loved items’ to sell
ANIMAL organisation 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue held a fundraising evening at the Spur in Scottburgh.
“The evening was a huge success, not only in terms of fundraising, but also to raise awareness about the organisation and the importance of adopting rather than shopping for pets,” said 4 Paws’ Nicky Koekemoer.
The NPO appeals to the public to assist with donations and support for its charity shop in Thira Village in Scottburgh, as well as the Amanzimtoti shop in Iphala Centre. It rescues and re-homes abandoned, abused and neglected animals in Scottburgh and surrounding areas. It also feeds, provides medical care and shelter for the strays and animals in the local townships and underprivileged areas.
The charity shops are in desperate need of ‘pre-loved items’ to sell in order to raise adequate funds to feed all of the new strays being cared for.
Those wishing to adopt a dog may view the current dogs up for adoption by visiting www.4pawsandatalerescue.co.za or the Facebook page ‘4PawsAndATaleRescue’.
