Goals slotted as school’s sports week kicks off
Today the school's grounds were seen packed with children, parents and coaches from all over, who came to watch the talent in action.
KUSWAG School’s sport week kicked off yesterday afternoon with the tour opening ceremonies for the winter sports of rugby, hockey and netball.
Today the school’s grounds were seen packed with children, parents and coaches from all over, who came to watch the talent in action.
The morning saw netball, hockey and rugby matches being played by the primary school pupils, which had toured from all over to participate.
Shorter games and rolling subs gave both the coaches and players an opportunity to grow their performance in a game situation.
In the afternoon, well-known physiotherapist, Robert Gibson will be offering a strapping course for all sportsmen and women and their coaches or parents, enabling them to know more and be able to apply medical strapping to their injured bodies effectively.
Following that, a rugby, hockey and netball clinic will be happening where the sportsmen and women are encouraged to grow their skills and integrate new strategies into their game play.
Delicious food and drinks are on sale, the music is playing and all attending are enjoying the vibe on the Kuswag School grounds. Participants look forward to what the next two days of the sports week holds.
