Only crumbs left of AWI biscotti cookery competition entry

Congratulations to Cynthia de Lange who received 98% for her Biscotti entry at Congress in September 2017.

AMANZIMTOTI Women’s Institute’s (AWI) meeting on Tuesday, 14 November opened with the singing of the FWI song, Unity.

Grace Finch read the WI prayer and president Yvonne Dixie welcomed all members and two visitors.

Due to the inclement weather in October, the meeting had to be cancelled so the October entries were judged together with those for November.

Arrangements for the Christmas party to be held on Tuesday, 5 December were finalised. AWI members were asked to remember to take along something to be donated to the Elders Voice.

Congratulations to Cynthia de Lange who received 98% for her biscotti entry at Congress in September.

After tea and delicious snacks (thank you to the tea women), Susan Martin shared her deeply touching story, interlaced with humour and an amazing smile in spite of her extreme disability of how life has changed since her accident in 2015.
