These discarded candles are dangerous to people and animals

The wicks of the candles have not been burnt at all, so it makes one wonder.

EDITOR – While fishing from the Doonside Beach last weekend, I found a number of red and black candles.

The first batch of nine and I later found a further seven further down towards Warner Beach.

The scary part of this is that each candle had four or five pins stuck in it and a small section of a razorblade, with the sharp side protruding.

The wicks of the candles have not been burnt at all, so it makes one wonder.

Needless to say they are dangerous to people walking on the beach, dogs and the horses that frequently pass on the beach.

Be careful! If it is not dead chickens lying on the beach, what next?
