Bad seas and heavy winds made it very unpleasant to fish.

No fish were caught, but well done to those who fished. Buccaneers Social Fishing Club is based in Warner Beach and is purely a social club at the family bistro.

They do trips away and have a family day. They also have an annual prize-giving at the end of the year.

The club is eager for new members to join and look forward to seeing more people take part in the next competition which takes place on Saturday and Sunday, 3 and 4 August.

For further information, contact the club’s chairman, Deon Jordt on 083-661-1437.
