KwaThambo Primary receives a helping hand

The project saw the replacement and construction of equipment and furniture at the school.

The official handover of the refurbished KwaThambo Primary School was held on Saturday, 7 September.

Members of the Helping Hands group from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints situated in Amanzimtoti together with teachers, learner and community members worked tirelessly.

Hundreds of KwaMakhutha children from Grade 1 through 7 all volunteered their time to give back to the community under the leadership of the Church’s Bishop Robert Van Thiel and the school principal, Thobile Ngcongo Sibisi.
