Art association meetings on hold

The club’s Jean Taylor said, “We have sadly made the decision to postpone our general meetings, exhibitions and workshops until further notice."

The Upper South Coast Art Association has placed all monthly meetings and regular activity on hold, following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The club’s Jean Taylor said, “We have sadly made the decision to postpone our general meetings, exhibitions and workshops until further notice. You can still see us on Facebook or on the drawing and members WhatsApp groups. Art can still be placed on the show table on these formats. You can still do your theme paintings and drawings every month because they will be judged when our meetings resume. All the theme titles this year will be honoured. Do not put theme paintings on these formats as we have a strict anonymous voting policy. Members will still receive their monthly newsletter.”

“One of our guest artists is in quarantine as is club members returning from overseas. We will aim to retain our guest artists when things get back to normal. We do not know what is going to happen with this pandemic of coronavirus but we do want you all to be as safe as possible. We also want you to carry on enjoying this wonderful hobby especially as we all might have to self- isolate for a while.  Look out for your friends, stay well and hope to see you all in person soon,” she added.
