Relief for Covid-19 positive homes in Isipingo

Covid-19 positive families that are unable to afford their essentials while being under quarantine can contact Aidan David on 067-022-2505 for alternate arrangements to be made.

In an effort to assist those who are in dire need, PT Alarms in partnership with Isipingo Community Policing Forum (CPF) has embarked on a non-profit Covid-19 assist programme. A dedicated vehicle has been assigned to assist every Covid-19 positive household in the community.  Families that are under quarantine are requested to send a list of their essential perishable or non-perishable items to 062-673-9642 which is a line for the Covid-19 assist programme.

“The operator will forward the instruction to purchase all noted items and the controller will then notify the family of the cost of these items,” said spokesperson of the organisation, Trishen Govender.  Families can leave the cash in their post box or request banking details from the controller for an EFT payment. The essential items will be delivered to the family’s door step or gate and the cash will be collected from the post box. This non-profit initiative will allow every family that is under quarantine to be able to survive in such circumstances.”

Covid-19 positive families that are unable to afford their essentials while being under quarantine can contact Aidan David on 067-022-2505 for alternate arrangements to be made.

“This service will be available only between 10am and 2pm everyday. PT Alarms and Isipingo CPF will not allow any Covid-19 positive family to become destitute or forgotten because of this pandemic. Together we can overcome and survive.”
