Friends and family of Selome Leighton bid farewell to her and though she passed on her memory will be eternal.
The 83-year-old suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with pneumonia shortly before her death. She and her husband, John, were residents at Poinsettia Park after moving to Amanzimtoti in 2001. The couple were married for 42 years and were known for their caravan adventures and international travels.
“She was a wonderful woman full of fire,” said John. “She was always seen in high heeled shoes and loved fashion. We had a lovely life together and she will be missed dearly.”
