Help police identify Mid Illovo body
The deceased was found burnt beyond recognition in a sugarcane plantation.
THE Mid Illovo police appeal to anyone who can assist them with information regarding the body of a woman that was found in the area by farm workers on Monday, August 8, at midday.

Provincial SAPS spokesperson Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo said the deceased is in her twenties, and the body was discovered when the workers went to investigate the cause of a fire in a sugarcane field.
“The deceased was burnt beyond recognition, and she had wires, suspected to be that of a tyre, around her neck. The only part of the deceased’s clothing that was slightly visible were the black takkies and navy-blue socks,” she said.
