First-ever widows’ conference held in Amanzimtoti

The church hopes to have more widows' conferences in the near future to continue empowering widows in the community.

THE Living Faith Ministries Church hosted a successful widows’ conference in Amanzimtoti on June 1, where women gathered and shared tips on how to move forward after losing a spouse.

Pastors Liz and Errol David, who organised the event said there are plans for the next one as the women were empowered and motivated by the talks. This was the first of its kind.

“The Never Alone conference was an invitation for widows to come and be with a community of other widows wanting to begin a healing journey,” said Pastor Liz.

About 60 women were in attendance and benefited from a keynote address by Pastor Ivy Pandaram.
