WATCH: Beer truck looted in Umgababa

It is unclear why the driver of the beer truck pulled off onto the emergency lane on the N2 in Umgababa.

A TRUCK delivering beer was looted on the N2 in Umgababa this morning (October 25).

In a video shot by a motorist, the truck appears to pull over across the yellow line when the community and other motorists loot its liquid cargo. At the time of publication, it was unclear why the truck driver had stopped on the side of the busy highway.

Dalene Heath of Toti Community Assist said the police and ET Rapid Response arrived and cleared the looters from the scene. No arrests are reported to have been made.
