Puppy protector bottle-feeds two rescued litters

The selfless animal lover behind Isipingo Pet Rescue is caring for two litters of pups, nursing them through vital early development.

TWO litters of pups are undergoing around the clock care from Isipingo Pet Rescue’s founder Nirvana Ramlall.

The pet rescuer said that nine mixed breed puppies lost their mother due to an infection in her teats. She began caring for them on April 14. They were rescued from Phoenix. Another litter of five bull terrier pups were born to a young dog who could not cope.

“It is challenging, but rewarding. I don’t have words to express how much joy they bring me. They have flourished under my care. Thanks to expert veterinary care and support, the bull terriers are putting up a good fight to live and I am confident they will pull through. I am currently feeding them with gastronomy tubes and witnessing their resilience first hand,” said Ramlall.

Ramlall’s work with rescued animals is sustained through community support. Consider making a donation towards Isipingo Pet Rescue. Donations are eligible for a section 18A tax exemption certificate. Ramlall emphasises that every donation, no matter how big or small, helps provide a second chance at life for rescued pets.
