The colour run saw hundreds of eager participants of all ages enjoy a day of family fun and fundraising for the Jona Vaughan Home and Hope for Liané. The entrance fee went towards the event’s fundraising and participants received two colours to enjoy, with most wearing white to show off their tie-dye-style handiwork.

The event was organised by Bianca Roussouw, Sammy-Jo Nel and Classy Owl. Bianca excitedly said the day turned out perfect and she was chuffed to see many people having fun.

“We always wanted to host a colour run as we have enjoyed the ones we have attended before. This being the first colour run we planned, I was not too sure what to expect, but it was a phenomenal experience. Our goal was to raise at least R10 000, though after all our expenses, we raised around R5 300, so each organisation we set out to help receives around R2 600. I am sure we will host another one and I hope there will be a ton of interest again,” said Bianca.
