Car stolen in Doonside recovered in Umbumbulu
According to AutoTrader, the Toyota Corolla Cross is the fastest-climbing model on the list of the most stolen cars in the country.
TOYOTA Corolla Cross vehicles continue to be one of the most targeted vehicles by thieves and hijackers after another one was stolen in Amanzimtoti in the early hours of May 14.
The white Toyota Corolla Cross was stolen from a residence on Hillside Road in Doonside.

In a statement, ET Rapid Response said information regarding the stolen vehicle was obtained and immediately circulated to the ET Tactical Response team.
“A possible location of the vehicle was later received through Cartrack, enabling ET Tactical Response Team members to conduct follow-up investigations, which resulted in the successful recovery of the stolen vehicle,” read the statement.
The car was recovered in Umbumbulu.
According to AutoTrader, the Toyota Corolla Cross is the fastest-climbing model on the list of the most stolen cars in the country. Its appeal to thieves and hijackers is driven by its commercial success, which has created a lucrative black market for its parts.
