March and March movement leader, Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, announced that weekly marches will continue for the next six months.

She dismissed suggestions that the action was intended to be a national shutdown and instead described it as the beginning of a sustained nationwide campaign.
Ngobese-Zuma said supporters will take to the streets every Thursday over the next six months.
“Every Thursday, for the next six months we are marching until they are gone,” she told thousands in Durban.
She said South Africans should expect what she described as a “massive shutdown” within the next three months.
