Three men caught with body in a wheelbarrow

When questioned, the three men gave conflicting stories about the deceased they were moving in a wheelbarrow.

THREE men were caught moving a body in a wheelbarrow in Malabar Hills, Isipingo.

Jordan Owen Pillay, ambassador for PT Alarms Tactical South, said early this morning, February 15, on-duty PT Alarms members spotted the trio pushing a wheelbarrow with what appeared to be a body on Mahes Road.

“The members immediately stopped and investigated. It was discovered that a body of an African male believed to be in his 30s was being moved by the men. There were no physical visible injuries on the deceased and it was unknown how he passed on. The men provided conflicting stories upon being questioned. They were detained until Isipingo SAPS arrived,” said Pillay.

The men were then taken to the Isipingo Police Station for further investigation.
