Swift recovery of stolen cars in KwaMakhutha and Lower Illovo
The vehicles were recovered after quick response and co-ordination involving private security and vehicle tracking companies and the police.
TWO stolen vehicles have been recovered in separate recent operations in KwaMakhutha and Lower Illovo, highlighting the role played by security companies in tackling vehicle crime.

In the first incident, a Blue Security tactical officer received tracking co-ordinates regarding a white Toyota Hilux that had been reported stolen on August 30.
Already in the area, the officer immediately responded to assist the police and the vehicle tracking company with locating the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located and secured with the assistance of Blue Security, Netstar and the police.
In the second incident, quick response by a Blue Security officer led to the recovery of a VW Polo that was stolen in Amanzimtoti on August 29.
The vehicle was found in J Section, Umlazi, where Blue Security members secured the scene. The recovered vehicle was subsequently handed over to Tracker for the necessary recovery procedures.
