TECHNICIANS are working to restore electricity after an outage left St Winifreds and Astra Park without power this morning (January 28).

The outage was caused by a damaged cable on the main supply line into both suburbs.

At midday, councillor André Beetge said the repairs were approaching 50%, with expectations of having full supply restored late afternoon or early evening.
