Christmas carols and festive markets are plentiful in Amanzimtoti this time of the year

December 10:
MEREWENT Athletic Club’s annual general meeting will be held on December 10, at the Parsee Rustomjee Primary School Hall, situated at Satara Road, Merebank. Registration will commence at 09:00. The meeting will begin at 10:00.
December 11:
CUTTINGS Fishing Forum will host a fishing competition on December 11, from 06:00 to 13:00. First, second and third prizes will be awarded for the biggest edible fish caught in two categories of the competition. For more information, call 083 557 7020.

December 14:
JABULANI – The Kingsburgh Welfare organisation for the Aged invites the community to join them for an evening of Christmas carols in their hall on December 14, at 17:30 for 18:00. Bring your own drinks and snacks. Entry is free. Address is 6 Sutton Lane, Warner Beach. Call 068 019 7053 to book.
December 16:
MOTH – Mills Bomb Shellhole will host its 95th anniversary market day on December 16, from 08:00 to 16:00. Come and support this by enjoying live music, delicious home-baked and good food. Address is 1 Ellcock Road, Warner Beach. Call Piet Fourie on 082 457 2512 for more information.

December 17:
THERE will be a Tin Hat Holiday Market at the Amanzimtoti Bowling Club on December 17, from 09:00 to 15:00. Entrance is free. There will be raffle draws, prizes up for grabs, food and drinks and so much more. Bring along a food item to do donate to Hearts of Toti NPO. Address is 1 Picnic Lane.
December 30:
AMANZIMTOTI Golf Club will be hosting their Mulligan New Years Market on December 30, from 09:00 to 15:00. There will be raffles to raise funds for the golf course. Bring along a pet food item, to support the Amanzimtoti SPCA. Address is 1 Golf Course Road, Athlone Park. Call Chantelle Lotter on 062 973 8657.
THE RE/MAX Toti Christmas lights display is open to the public every night until January 6, including public holidays, from 18:00 to 22:00. This year they are supporting Bobbi Bear to raise funds and collect items needed like toys, clothes (new and second hand), shoes, food and toiletries. Address is 14 Lewis Drive, Amanzimtoti. All are welcome.
