Power outage affects Amanzimtoti and surrounds

eThekwini said it is working on restoring the power.

ETHEKWINI Municipality has said it is aware of power outages affecting a number of areas, and reference numbers have been issued.

Areas that have no electricity include Prospecton, Amanzimtoti, Lovu Township and Isipingo Beach. No reasons for the outages have been given, but in a statement, eThekwini said it is working on restoring the power.

Residents can follow up on a reported fault/outage by sending an email to electricity.faults@durban.gov.za or by calling 080 311 1111. New faults can be reported via WhatsApp at 076 791 2449.
