Help find missing Siamese cat from Kingsburgh

A family are desperately trying to locate their beloved pet who can also detect when his owner's sugar levels spike or drop.

A FAMILY in Mtomba Crescent, Kingsburgh, is appealing to the public to help find their Siamese cat that went missing on September 22.

Belinda Smith said their cat, Dani, is an emotional support cat for her daughter and can sense when her sugar levels spike or drop. “Rachel has been a type 1 diabetic for 20 years. She’s been insulin-dependent since the age of seven. Over the years, he’s become very aware of her condition and knows how to get her attention. He will sit on her or put his face into hers to wake her up,” she said.

Belinda added that since his disappearance, they have had a few dangerous incidents where Rachel could have used his help.

“There have been sightings of Siamese cats, but so far, none have been him. Please help us bring our beautiful cat home. He means more to us than anything in the world. He’s our baby and a big part of our family,” said Belinda.

Help find Dani.

The family thanked all those who have helped search for him, as well as those who have sent supportive messages and made and put up posters.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, contact Belinda Smith on 083 791 5295.
