The fun-filled event is designed to get your heart pumping and muscles moving – while raising funds for a charitable cause.

THE Amanzimtoti SPCA invites the community to a morning of fitness and fun at its first-ever Furry Fitness Bootcamp fundraiser on May 1, from 09:00 to 12:00, at 3 Sanders Road, Winklespruit.

Sweat it out with invigorating hortons, zumba, kick and box, and pilates workouts by instructors from Rhythmic Arts Academy and Shapes for Women.

SPCA’s Michelle Hannan said, “The event is designed to get your heart pumping and muscles moving. But, it’s not just about exercise – you can indulge in delicious food and drinks on sale, and know that every step you take supports a worthy cause.”

All participants will receive a goodie bag as a token of appreciation, courtesy of sponsors who have come on board. “Let’s come together, break a sweat and make a difference for our furry friends,” said Hannan.

Tickets are R100 per person. All proceeds go to Amanzimtoti SPCA. It is open to all ages and fitness levels. Registration is from 08:00 to 09:00, bootcamp (20 minute exercises with 10 minute breaks in between) is from 09:00 to 11:00 and food/stalls are available from 11:00 to 12:00.
