Selected as one of 40 finalists out of 2 500 hopefuls during a competitive audition in Sandton on March 29, Devline is set to showcase his talent in front of top industry scouts from June 27 to July 1.

IPOP is a talent platform that connects aspiring artists with top agencies, casting directors, and managers in the entertainment industry. It boasts a 100% success rate for models who participate, making it a golden opportunity for Devline to fast-track his career.

To help fund this life-changing trip, he has launched a BackaBuddy campaign, calling on supporters to help him turn his international dreams into reality.

Since stepping into the modelling world three years ago, Devline has built an impressive portfolio of accolades, including titles such as Mr Alberton 2023, Mr Spring Ambassador 2024, and Model of KZN 2024.

With his sights now set on the international stage, this young model is ready to represent South Africa with style, passion, and determination.

“Modelling has always been my dream and I’ve always seen myself becoming the best model South Africa has to offer. Over the past three years I have gained confidence and skill throughout my pageantry,” he said.

His bigger mission is to bring back new modelling techniques and methods to inspire South Africa’s future models.

“South Africa has excellent talent but lacks the exposure to compete globally,” he said.

The funds raised will sponsor his return flight to Los Angeles, a six-night stay, food, transportation between events and hotel, and boot camps.
