In the SUN 53 years ago: Dalene Heath and Michael Roscoe in baby competition

Both Dalene and Michael have remained active members of the community and have featured many times in the SUN as adults.

THE South Coast SUN edition of August 25, 1972, carried the results of the SUN Beautiful Baby competition, and 10-month-old Dalene Heath was chosen as the winner, with Michael Roscoe coming a close second.

When the SUN showed Dalene the original article from the archives, she was lost for words as she was not aware she once graced the front page as the most beautiful baby.

Both Dalene and Michael have remained active members of the community and have featured many times in the SUN as adults.
