The Amanzimtoti-based non-profit organisation front-man frequently champions empowering communities, transforming education and fostering growth.

This time, Dale is working towards equipping his son, Victor van Blerk for his future. Victor was recently accepted into The Sharks Academy to hone his rugby talents. He will be doing his estate agent certification through the academy programme.

Dale said that to support his son’s journey, he will be taking on a journey himself, embarking on a three-day 100km walk from Amanzimtoti to Margate as a fundraiser.

“The goal is to raise enough for his tuition, stay and academy costs. Victor is not only a hardworking and talented player but also a young man of great character, faith, and respect. I believe he will make us proud both on and off the field,” said Dale.

The campaign kicks off next week, and Dale’s gargantuan walk will commence on December 3. To support the fundraiser, follow Walking the Talk Foundation on Facebook.  For more information, contact Dale van Blerk on 061 237 4012 or email dale@wttf.org.za.
