Edu Paw appeals for community assistance

Edu Paw relies entirely on donations from the public to run its programme, and none of its loyal volunteers receive remuneration.

Luthuli’s Edu Paw journey began in 2022 when she balanced full-time employment with devoting her Saturdays to serving the children and dogs in the NPO’s programme.

Founder Cathy Keegan said when she stepped down as programme facilitator, Luthuli stepped forward to take over the role. She explained that Luthuli often goes above and beyond her duties on Saturdays, visiting homes to check on the children and their furry friends, ensuring they are cared for and supported.

“Her passion for dogs and her commitment to teaching children about proper canine care as well as instilling love and compassion for animals is what truly drives her. We would love to offer Nomfundo a small monthly stipend to assist with her expenses and to acknowledge her remarkable dedication,” said Keegan.

If you would like to help Edu Paw make this possible, consider sponsoring or contributing towards her stipend. The following banking details can be used, FNB account holder: Amanzimtoti SPCA, account number: 62807184552, branch code: 220127, reference: Edu Paw – Nomfundo.
