One week left for CCPO gift appeal

An Amanzimtoti resident is appealing for donations to gift Christmas gift cards to the patrollers, guards and supervisors of CCPO.

AN AMANZIMTOTI resident’s appeal for fellow residents to help make Christmas special for the Community Crime Prevention Organisation’s (CCPO) dedicated foot patrollers is coming to an end.

There is one week remaining to donate towards the R40 000 target to give patrollers, guards and supervisors of the CCPO an extra special Christmas.

Reena Solomon is the driving force behind the gift appeal.

“CCPO is the only non-profit security company in Amanzimtoti and its staff go the extra mile and work long hours, come rain or shine, to keep our community safe. It is funded by the community through membership. They patrol our streets and risk their lives to keep us safe 24/7 throughout the year. As a community member, I am always happy and grateful to see them patrolling our streets,” said Solomon.

She aims to give them each a Galleria Mall Shopping Gift Card as a token of gratitude and appreciation, from the community, so that they can spoil their families with a little something extra this Christmas.

“It’s been a tough time for everyone, but if you can, please consider making even the smallest donation. Please don’t think that any amount is too small. Your donation will make a difference! All monies raised will go towards purchasing the gift cards,” said Solomon.

If you would like to donate, use the following banking details: Account name: R Solomon, Nedbank current account number: 1306094763, reference: [Your name]/Christmas, branch code: 198765. Email proof of payment to reenasol@mweb.co.za.
